The cover is knitted with commercial-grade, virgin HDPE material that weighs 170+ GSM. It features 2 heavy-duty metal rods with rust protection treatment, plus 4 sections of paracord. By inserting the weighted rods into the rod pockets and securing them with the paracord, the shade cover will remain firmly in place, even in windy weather. (Note: Pergola frame is not included.)
The breathable, permeable material allows cool breezes, sunlight, and rain to pass through without trapping heat or water. The UV-stabilized mesh fabric resists fading, tearing, and fraying, ensuring the cover maintains its strength and durability for years of use.
Installation is quick and easy. The cover is finished with a double-stitched reinforced seam and 2 long tubular pockets at each end for simple setup. Simply place the cover on top of the pergola frame, with the rod pocket sides hanging down. The cover can be easily adjusted back and forth to move with the sun and provide maximum shade where needed.
