The product features HIGH QUALITY WEIGHTED RODS AND PARACORD. It includes 2 heavy-duty metal weighted rods with rust protection treatment, as well as 4 sections of paracord. By inserting the weighted rods into each rod pocket and securing them with paracord, the shade cover will remain in place even in windy conditions. The sizes listed are the exact dimensions of the cover, not the size of the pergola or structure.
The canopy is made of DURABLE UV TREATED WATERPROOF MATERIAL. It uses 160GSM high-density 350 denier 100% polyester fabric coated with polyurethane to help repel rainwater. Customers can use a broom or rod to push out any water that accumulates after rain.
The canopy provides SUN AND RAIN PROTECTION FOR OUTDOOR FURNITURE. It blocks up to 100% of sun rays while reducing temperatures underneath by up to 30%, allowing for year-round enjoyment of the outdoor area. It is important to note that the PU-coated side should face outward/skyward for proper waterproof installation, as some customers have reported issues when installed the opposite way.
The canopy is designed for EASY INSTALLATION AND ADJUSTMENT. It features a double-stitched reinforced seam and 2 long tubular pockets at each end for simple installation. The cover can be placed on top of the pergola frame with the rod pocket sides hanging down, and it can be easily adjusted back and forth to move with the sun and provide maximum shade as needed.
