Crafted from 160GSM high-density 350-denier 100% polyester fabric, our waterproof polyester material is coated with polyurethane to repel rainwater. You can use a broom or rod to push out any pooled water after rainfall.
The UV-treated, waterproof fabric and natural earth-tone colors provide sun protection and rain protection for your outdoor furniture. This canopy blocks up to 100% of sun rays while reducing temperatures underneath by up to 30%, allowing you to enjoy your outdoor area year-round.
Important note: For proper waterproof installation, the non-PU-coated side should face outward/skyward. Some customers have reported issues with water resistance due to incorrect installation.
Installation is a breeze – simply place the cover on top of your pergola frame, letting the rod pocket sides hang down. Use the provided polyester ties to secure each corner to the vertical support posts. Slide weighted rods (such as curtain rods, metal pipes, or PVC pipes) into the rod pockets, and you're all set. (Rods are not included.)
Pro tip: Since the waterproof material does not allow water to pass through, use a broom handle or a non-sharp object to push any pooled water on the cover, allowing it to run off.
