UV Protection & Waterproof
The sun awning is crafted from 160 GSM High-Density Polyester (PES) waterproof fabric with a PU coating. This material is both tear-resistant and waterproof (400 kpa), effectively blocking up to 98% of harmful UV rays and direct sunlight. The fabric is specially designed to be "breathable," allowing air to pass freely while maintaining a certain degree of waterproofing and cooling.
Scientific Manufacturing
Due to the inherent characteristics of this polymer waterproof fabric, the finished product may have a deviation of ±2 inches. To ensure a secure shape, we splice it during production. However, you have nothing to worry about concerning water leakage at the splice. We have adopted the latest hot adhesive film covering technology at the splicing point. Please note that during installation, the hot glue surface should face downwards.
Measurement & Installation
Before installation, measure and clean the area where the sun visor will be placed. Leave a margin of 0.5-1 foot between the fixing point and the sunshade sail to install hardware/hooks or ropes. Ensure the waterproof shade sail is mounted slightly tilted, at a 20-40 degree angle, and tensioned correctly to prevent water from accumulating.
